Sorry for the bit of inactivity lately, folks. I really didn't have much to write, just waiting to reach the payout minimum on some of the PTC sites so I can report back to you guys.
In the meantime, though, I've started adding to my Triond account again. A few years back I started trying to do some freelance writing work, and it really just wasn't my thing. I mean, I enjoy writing, but only when I want to and on subjects I'm interested in. Being payed $1 for 500 words (which seems to be the going rate these days) when I really wasn't enjoying the writing just wasn't worth it in my mind. I spent quite a few days sitting here staring at me screen wondering how I was going to fill up the page.
Then I found Triond. Triond owns a network of blogs that they have done all the SEO work on, so all you have to do is write. You can write about anything you like - besides blatant advertising - and submit it for approval. It normally gets approved within a few minutes, and then posted on whichever one of their blogs it's most relevant to. Then you can share it over a whole bunch of social networks, and you can be assured it's showing up on google.
Then you just wait. Triond has a lot of paid advertising on their blogs, and you will get 50% of the revenue earned from those ads - forever. So you might innitially make less than the $1/500 words that someone else would be paying you, but it accumulates over time instead of being a one time payment.
The more you write, and the more people are interested in your topics, the more money you'll make.
