So I had something interesting happen to me today. The $500 payout I was waiting for from this site has magically disappeared.

I joined the site, and was well aware at the time that it was likely a scam. They're not totally unbelieveable - $1-5 per ad is a little over the top, but still plausible - but how many sites let you make $500 in a couple weeks just from clicking ads?
Anyways, I got to my $500 payout and requested it, and I have been checking back every day to see if it's gone through yet. The last few days it listed the $500 in the "pending" slot, as is to be expected. I submitted a help ticket to see how long I could expect the payout to take and have not yet recieved a response.
Today, however, I logged on and that $500 is nowhere to be found! It's not in the pending section, it's not in the cancelled section, it's not in the paid section, and it didn't get put back into my earnings... it's just gone!
So I submitted another help ticket, which I don't really expect to get a response from... and I'm recommending that no one join the site until further notice. I'll let you know if anything actually comes of my help tickets.

Orangebizs - not worth it.
Yay for the first sites-not-to-join post on here!
Orangebizs.com sounds like a great site when you first join for one reason - weekly payouts with no minimum after you have been a member for 14 days.
However, after hanging around for a few days, you realise that it's just not worth it. I didn't stick around long enough to find out if the site actually pays because, frankly, I got annoyed. I got about 50 e-mails from this site a day, half of which contained links that wouldn't pay me because I had clicked on them too recently (so why was I even finding them in my inbox?). Not only that, but each e-mail (the ones that pay cash instead of points) pays $0.0002-$0.00025. So after two days of clicking every single link that came into my inbox, I had a grand total of $0.0244. Weekly payouts are a little useless if I can only make about $0.10 a week.
If it wasn't spamming my inbox so incessantly (I got a new e-mail every 10-30 minutes most hours of the day), I probably would have stuck around just to see if they paid so I could report back to you guys. But I was annoyed. So I deleted my account, and I'm recommending that you guys spend your time on more useful sites.

You Cubez - my new favourite PTC site
This site is awesome! It's like a traffic trade, advertising and PTC site all in one.
When you first go to the site, you'll see a whole bunch of cubes filling the page. Each one of these cubes is a link to a site (you can see details of the site, as well as the value of the cube by mousing over it).
Each cube has a monetary value - the higher valued cubes are higher up in the listing, making them more likely to get clicks.
When you join the site, you get a free cube. You can use this cube to advertise your own website. Then all you have to do is log on every day and click on other people's cubes. Free members can click on 20/day and premium members can click 100/day. This will ad to your cube funds.
Cube funds are not funds you can withdraw from your account. Instead, it is money you can assign to a cube you own to get it higher up in the list... and the higher it is in the list, the more likely someone is to want to buy it off of you.
You can put your cubes up for sale at any time for any price you want (the site does take a small commission)... and the money you make selling cubes can either be transfered to other cubes or withdrawn to your paypal account.
So, by logging on every day and clicking on as many links as you can, you stand to make quite a bit of money once you sell those cubes... and then you can buy more with the money you earned and start all over again!
From everything I've read about the site, it is a reputable and legitimate one that doesn't even try to lie to its users... which is probably why it has been so successful. Everything you could want to know is outlined on their site, they're not hiding anything.

Another PTC tip
If you are going to try and make any sort of income on PTC sites, I recommend you find two or three good sites and stick to those. Do your research before joining any of them... check blogs like this one, forums, scam lists, and figure out which ones you're likely to be able to make some money off of in a decent amount of time - and, more importantly, which ones will actually pay you when you reach the minimum payout.
Do not join every possibly legitimate site you find. The reason I say this is that many of them will have the same PTC ads and offers, and most of them will say that you aren't allowed to apply for the offers if you already applied for them from another site.
So it's better to concentrate on a few sites to maximize your profits. Otherwise your earnings will be spread thinly between multiple sites and you'll never actually reach the payouts on any of them.

PTC Quick Tips
While I'm already sort of on the subject, I'll post some tips that will help you out when you do find a legitimate PTC site.
1. Use an alternate e-mail address to sign up for offers. It'll save you a lot of spam.
2. Avoid the offers that will send texts to your cellphone. Often these are services that will send you things like daily horoscopes and charge you $2 per text, effectively nullifying whatever you're making from the site that directed you to it.
3. Refer people! This is often a much faster way to make cash. If you've found a site I haven't checked out yet, you can refer me too^^
4. Don't put in your actual phone number if you can avoid it... there really isn't much they can do to verify your phone number, so long as it's one from your area it should be fine. I say this because within the last two hours I have gotten a call from Washington and three from Arizona, and I can only assume it's because I put my number somewhere I shouldn't have.
Again, I'm sure I'll come up with more eventually, and when I do I'll edit this post.

I am generally not a fan of PTC sites. They offer meagre amounts of money for hours of work, and I often don't manage to come anywhere near their minimum payout. That's why I like this site so much. You don't earn money, you earn points - and those points can be redeemed for gaming gear. Their prizes include game cards for all sorts of games (everything from WoW to Webkinz), prepaid cellphone cards, trading cards, console games and accessories, computer accessories... the list goes on. And if you can't find it, they have a custom prize page where you can request whatever it is that you want, as well as having things like ebay gift cards up for grabs.
Seriously, it's every geek's dream, and many are already using the site to fullfil their dreams.
The one downside I'm finding is that most of the PTC offers are US only, and I happen to be Canadian. Lucky for me, they also have an awesome referal program.
