This seems like a neat site. They're not fully launched yet, so I can't really tell you much about it.
It's another site that lets you collect points to redeem for prizes, and they have quite a few good prizes available. It also seems like it won't take long to accumulate the points. Right now, you can get 4 points a day - 2 for signing in and 2 for answering the daily question. You also get 2 points for everyone who joins under you.
In the future, you'll be able to earn points by shopping online and watching videos, if I understand correctly.
For now, the prize I'm after is only 40 points, so I'll be able to redeem it in 10 days at most. If the site proves to be legit, I'll start saving up the 300 points for an Ipod, or maybe the 375 points for a DSi... I don't know yet.

Freelance Work
Everyone has talents of some sort, and the internet is a great place to take advantage of those. There are a few freelance work sites out there where you can advertise your services and get business. If you can find work this way, you will make money a lot faster than you would on any PTC site, but you have to realise that these are actual paying jobs and if you do not or cannot complete a job after accepting it, it will hurt your reputation tremendously.
The kinds of jobs that are available are limitless. Jobs I have bid on recently include getting followers for someone on Twitter, updating someone's blog, answering customer service e-mails. There are also jobs for those of you interested in photography, creative writing, web design... the list goes on. I'm sure anyone could find something they're interested in.
This is the freelance site I currently use the most, because I like the set up a lot better than most of the sites. The only down side is that if you have a free account you are limited in the number of jobs you can bid on each month.
There's also a site I found that lets you share your expertise with other people through online classes. Everyone has a subject they are interested in and know a lot about. You can sell your knowlege on this site by starting an online class and uploading articles, videos and sound files. People will sign up for seats in your class for whatever price you have specified, and then have access to the information for whatever time frame you have specified.
The other option, for all you writers, is to join up with a site like Triond, where you can post stories and articles about whatever you're interested in and earn commission every time someone sees it. Make sure you read and understand the terms and conditions on these sites especially (you should always read them, but on creative sites it's even more important). You need to make sure you know things like whether or not you are allowed to publish your work anywhere else, who owns your work after you've published it, ect... if you are writing solely for the sake of getting money, then go for it. If you're like me and do a lot of creative writing and might want to publish your writing on your own site or in magazines and newspapers you might want to steer clear of certain sites.

MyLot
If you are a forum junkie like me, this sort of paid-to-post site might be the perfect way to earn a little pocket change. Let me tell you up front, though, it is not a quick way to earn money and should definitely not be used to try and get any sort of actual income. Still, if you enjoy spending hours online ranting at people, answering questions and generally being social it's a good way to get a bit of cash.
MyLot is my favourite so far out of these sites. They do not, unfortunately, give you any idea of exactly how much money you get from any of your actions. I can tell you that after 3 days of scouring the discussions I have made a whopping $1.
So you see why I am stressing the fact that this won't make you much money. However, before finding this site I already spent a good portion of my life on websites such as Yahoo!Answers doing the same thing that I am now doing on MyLot. So eventhough I'm not making much, at least I'm now making a bit of cash for doing something I would be doing either way. I don't really hope to make more than $10 a month from this site, but coincidentally that's what their minimum payout is... and I really do enjoy participating in the discussions, so I'll probably stick around for quite a while.
It is a legitimate site. They would have a hard time hiding if such a large community wasn't getting paid. So, if it sounds like your kind of thing, check it out (preferably using my referal link, as always):
