Just found another useful Twitter management site - Buzzom.com - it connects directly into your Twitter account, so you don't have to sign up with them.
This site will load your Twitter follows and followers and allow you to easily stop following anyone who isn't following you back and follow anyone who has followed you if you're not following them already. It then has an option to follow more people, and you can search Twitter accounts by keywords in their bio or in their actual updates to find people relevant to your site.
This is exactly what I've been looking for since I started trying to use Twitter for promotion/advertising.

RevTwt - earning money by advertising on Twitter
I posted about this site in a previous post (Do you Twitter?), and I then had problems with it not updating the number of followers I had. So now I'm recommending you guys wait until you have a large following before adding your account to RevTwt. I deleted my account from their database and then added it again, and it updated my number of followers just fine.
For those of you who missed my previous post and don't feel like going to read it... RevTwt is a site that lets you earn money by posting ads on your Twitter account. You get paid a set amount per clicks, provided the people clicking on it are from the countries specified. Some advertisers are fine with any country, while others specify that you will only be paid for clicks from certain countries.
You need to have at least 50 followers to start posting ads and getting paid for them, so check out my other twitter-related posts for tips on how to gain a following.
RevTwt has also started an "Elite Twitterers" program, which will enable you to gain at least twice as much per click. In order to qualify for this program, you need to have more than 8000 followers and your twitter cannot be more than 20% ads. Advertisers want real content, not just spammed ads that no one will pay attention to.
The thing I like most about this site is that you can go and hand pick which ads to choose. You can put it on auto, too, if you like... but I like being able to go through and find the ads that my readers might actually find useful. This also increases the chances that people will actually click on the ads, since they are relevant to the people who read my blog/twitter.
All that to say that I posted my first ad from RevTwt on my Twitter account today, I'll probably post another in a bit once I've got some more actual content, and I'll keep you updated on how it goes.
Oh! As if I almost forgot... They also have a referal program that lets you earn 20% of what the people you refer earn:

More Twitter Tips
Ok, so yesterday I posted a whole bunch of sites designed to make you get more followers. Today I woke up to an e-mail inbox with over 50 e-mails saying "so-and-so is following you on Twitter", and most of the so-and-sos were obviously bots. Not only that, but I had to go through one by one and follow each of them, because I agreed to do so when I joined those sites.
Obviously, having bots as followers doesn't do you much good... and having to add them yourself one by one is just tedious.
Enter TrueTwit. It's a website that makes everyone who follows you on Twitter have to verify the fact that they are human before they can follow you (via the familiar test of typing the words in the picture into the text box). Not only that, but when someone follows you you will automatically start following them.
Both problems solved^^
Also, one of the few humans who added me yesterday directed me to some useful software called TweetDeck. It has a lot of useful features. You can manage multiple twitter accounts, you can search keywords (I have a section open that shows me everytime someone posts something related to "Make money online"), you can organize your contacts into groups and have the updates of each of those groups up on the screen... The best part is, it's all in one window. You can split this window into sections however you like, to show whatever you want to see (I currently have my direct messages, my human friends and the search box I mentioned before). The only negative I have found so far is that it doesn't tell you when someone follows you, though you can follow, unfollow, favourite and do everything else to other people.

Getting more followers on Twitter
So, after finding out that RevTwit requires 50 followers in order to post ads, I went looking for ways to get followers.
I highly recommend that you find followers who are actually interested in what you're writing about, or have sites related to yours so that your readers will be interested in the people you're following. However, I got a little lazy and decided I would get up to 50 first so that I could actually post ads, and from then on out I will concentrate on those who actually care.
So, in my search for ways to get more followers I found a site called "Boost Twitter Followers". It has a paid VIP option, but there is also a free option. The downside to the free option is that you are obligated to follow VIP members in order to get points which you can then spend on following free members. The up side is that the free members are obligated to follow you in return. They also have a referal program, in which you get 30% commission if anyone you refer decides to use the VIP program. I'm not trying to pressure you guys into using it, just putting my link out there... I think you can sign up for a free account with the referal and then if you ever switch to VIP I would get credit. I don't really expect anyone to spend money if they don't have to, though.

Another site I found is http://www.twitterfollower.com which is similar. It's a free service, but you are obligated to follow anyone who follows you. The one problem I have with these sites is that there is no way to search. I wish I could find one that let you search by interest or something so you could ad relevant people - so let me know if you come across any better sites.

Do you Twitter?
Another simple way to make money with things you're already doing is to post ads on your twitter account. I just joined the site today, so I don't have much to say about it, but it's another service that pays you for every person who clicks on an ad. You can set it up to automatically post 1-2 messages a day from categories of your choice, or you can chose to go in every day and hand-pick the ads you want to post.
I opted to hand-pick the offers for the sake of my twitter account, since it is associated with this blog and I would rather not have a zillion links posted that are completely useless to my readers.
The more followers you have, the more oportunities you have open to you. There is a section of ads that anyone can post, where you get paid per click. For this first section, you need to have at least 50 followers. There is another section of ads that you can only use if you have a certain number of followers (I haven't even managed to get 50 yet, so I don't know what the numbers are). The catch with this second section is that you need to have 5 actual posts between each ad... so you have to actually use your twitter account for something other than making money.
I haven't found much on the site, to be honest - nothing to say it's a scam, but nothing saying hoe well it pays, either... so I'll let you know how it works out. In the meantime, use my referal link if you feel like trying it out for yourself.
